Spinal Decompression
63Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
For the most part, the medical profession in the United States is revered. We're at a time in history where medical innovations are coming at us fast and furious. But even as medical procedures and treatments advance, significantly increasing longevity statistics, there is still room for much improvement. The established medical community is often reluctant to accept innovations originating outside of their own circle. For example, there was a time when many physicians refused to acknowledge the benefits of particular chiropractic therapies opting instead for surgery.
Effective and Innovative Therapy
Fortunately, the chiropractic community has come into its own in recent years and offers very effective and innovative therapies of their own. One of these advances is known as spinal decompression. Simple in theory and effective in practice, spinal decompression has been a godsend for many individuals suffering from neck and back pain.
Neck and Back Pain
Neck and back problems manifest for a wide variety of reasons. Sometimes it's difficult for medical personnel to pinpoint the exact causes. However, many people suffering from such pain often have a single objective finding in common: the vertebrae of the spine are either compressed or misaligned. This is where spinal decompression works wonders.
Almost Immediate Relief
Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment where an individual is firmly yet gently secured to a platform known as a decompression table using straps and padded blocks. Once the patient is securely in place, the table moves, applying traction to the affected part of the back or neck. This movement slowly separates the vertebrae relieving pressure and tension that causes pain. There is even a safety switch available to the patient allowing him to immediately stop the treatment should he experience any discomfort. Many people receiving decompression report almost immediate relief.
The procedure is effective in treating generalized pain of the neck and back, herniated discs, numbness and tingling of the arms and legs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and in many cases, spinal stenosis. If you or a loved one has suffered from back or neck pain, perhaps you should look into spinal decompression.

This treatment saved my safe. I had always hoped that advances in technolgy would offer a safer and more effective alternative to back surgery. After seeing a program on television from US Spine Care about a new non-surgical treatment for back paid I decided to go for a consultation and was impressed with the technolgy and even more impressed with how fast I responded. My orthopedic who recommended surgery advised against the treatment it but what does he know, he gets paid to cut people.

I Was in constant pain after a minor car accident over a year ago. After seeing several doctors I was told I had no other options besides surgery. After doing my own research I learned about spinal decompression.
I am halppy to say just after a few treatements that I am close to pain free. Thank G-d for the Internet.
